New 2017 Ford Super Duty versus Off-Highway Hall Truck: Obstacle Course

When compared to other trucks in our dealership, the new 2017 Ford Super Duty blows all of them out of the water. In fact, it is the most capable heavy duty pick up truck in America. It boasts impressive numbers with 440 horsepower, 7,630 lbs of payload, 925 lb/ft of torque and a whopping 32,500 lbs of max towing capacity. So instead of wasting time comparing it with other trucks, Ford decided to take it a step further in this video.

John Brenkus introduces us to an obstacle course set up to see how the new 2017 Ford Super Duty competes with the off-highway hall truck which can handle a massive 170,000 lbs. But what the new Ford Super Duty has that the off-highway hall truck doesn't is smarts. With a few clever additions such as adaptive steering and high-resolution cameras, the maneuverability of the Ford Super Duty is unlike anything its size. It can easily work its way around tight corners and spots in every direction without a misstep. On the other hand, the off-highway hall truck can't seem to keep away from hitting anything.
